The mission of the Baker City Farmers Market is to enhance the quality of our communities lives by promoting and encouraging the development of high quality local produce and provide an outlet for farmers, artisans and other producers to sell directly to the public. This in turn fosters our sense of community and sustains small-scale agriculture.
Help us launch our Spring Fundraising Drive!
This year, in response to Covid-19, we are adapting the market to keep you and our vendors safe and increase our community's access to fresh, local food! We need your support to:
Expand our Double Up Food Bucks Program - The Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program supports Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants and farmers by providing a match that increases fresh produce purchasing. Help us help low income neighbors stretch their food dollars farther while supporting local farmers!
Lower Vendor Fees - Help us thank our vendors and farmers by offsetting their costs to participate in the Baker City Farmers Market this season. Baker City has been impacted by the economic recession, and we want to do everything we can to support our vendors during this challenging time.
Still want to help but unable to donate at this time? There are many ways to support us! Keep scrolling for more ways to get involved, and please contact us about volunteer opportunities:
Thank you for helping us build community and support our neighbors and vendors!
Every season, the Baker City Farmers Market has a contest open to all artists to enter their own Farmers Market Design. The winning design will be printed on the seasonal posters to be distributed throughout the community. Historically, people love this artwork and collect it for their own personal collections. For more information, please contact us.
Entries must fit on an 11" x 17' poster.
